“I always said that I would only revisit the wizarding world if I had an idea that I was really excited about,” Rowling says in a statement, “and this is it.”
A good news for all Harry Potter fans and muggles, J.K Rowling and Warner Bross have officially announced that Harry Potter spin-off trilogy movies will be released on November 2016, 2018 and 2020. The movies are adapted from a very important Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, that will be the title of the movies as well.
This trilogy will take place 70 years before the Harry Potter and friends enter Hogwarts, following the adventure of magizoologist named Newt Scamander. Even though the story will begin in New York and the events are not related to Harry Potter movies, J. K. Rowling promised that the laws and customs that relate to hidden magical societies should remain familiar to Harry Potter series.
What makes this trilogy more special is, for the first time, J. K. Rowling will write her own screenplay and David Heyman will once again be the producer of the movies.
Can’t wait to return to Hogwarts!
