We are never, ever, ever getting … over Swift duetting with Jordan Lee Nickerson, a little fan suffering from Williams syndrome and leukemia. “I love singing songs for people, but I want to sing a song for you more than all the other people,” the star told him during her visit this past summer to Boston Children’s Hospital, where they rocked out to “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

Super-fan Jaxson Denno, 1½ years old, couldn’t wait to meet Iron Man. Only problem: When the superhero’s alter ego,Robert Downey Jr., showed up for their June 2013 encounter, he was in plainclothes. Tears ensued, but when Downey opened his mouth, the toddler quickly recovered. “He was fine as soon as he talked to him,” said Jaxson’s mom, proving the actor has one real-life superpower: unstoppable charm.

WHEN OPRAH SOLD HER STUFF FOR CHARITY

How much would you pay for a teapot if you knew Oprah Winfrey had used it to brew her Earl Grey? The TV star’s epic November 2013 garage sale sent the prices of the most mundane household objects skyrocketing. And as you’ve probably already guessed, she didn’t pocket the cash; all $600,000 went to benefit her Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.

WHEN ANDREW SHOT HOOPS AS SPIDEY

andrew-garfield-660Unlike Robert Downey Jr., this superhero understands the importance of keeping his true identity cloaked in secrecy. That’s why we’ll never be sure if it was Garfield or the real Spider-Man who made two young boys’ days (lives?) when he crashed their May 2013 basketball one-on-one in N.Y.C.

WHEN GARTH GAVE HIS GUITAR TO A SPECIAL FAN

Teresa Shaw, a mom who’s been battling stage 3 breast cancer since June, caught Brooks’s attention during a November concert when she stood in front of the stage with a sign that read “Chemo this morning. Garth tonight. Enjoying ‘The Dance.'” The country singer, who lost both his mother and sister to cancer, then began to serenade Shaw with his iconic hit, and after the song ended, he traded his guitar for her sign.

Breaking Bad star Paul did good when he teamed up with wife Lauren Parsekian in September 2013 to raise money for her anti-bullying charity, Kind Campaign. Two winners of an online contest got to attend his show’s series finale viewing party and hang with the cast.

WHEN ANNE & ADAM ONE-UPPED THE PAPARAZZI

anne-hathaway-660We know the camera loves Hathaway and husband Shulman – and the couple put their fame to use by stepping out holding signs highlighting some of their favorite nonprofits. Their inspiration:Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, who also pulled the charitable stunt over the summer.

Move over, Wilmer Valderrama: Lovato has some new bling, courtesy of a 5-year-old fan who popped the question during an October concert. “Oh and by the way guys … I’M ENGAGED!” she wrote of her adorable fan (and wannabe future husband) Grant.

WHEN KEITH & NICOLE SANG AN ‘AMAZING’ DUET

There was an extra reason to applaud when Urban came together with wife Kidman to sing “Amazing Grace” in June. The power couple were visiting the Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton, Australia, where the staff later thanked them “for lifting up the spirits of some of our most deserving patients, families and staff.”
