Prove that you are not a robot: Google’s reCAPTCHA

Tired of always having to deal with (and fail) the annoying “Prove that you are not a robot” CAPTCHA? Say no more. Google has come up with the more advanced and secure reCAPTCHA to separate humans and bots.

CAPTCHAs has grown to be increasingly harder to solve as bots grow to be smarter and smarter in bypassing the security check. Their research shows that 99.8% of these robots are now able to get through even the trickiest CAPTCHAs—even the ones humans have to retry.

Google’s new reCAPTCHA security system analyzes the activity a user does before and after ticking the “I’m not a robot” box. As long as you’re human, the latest security service shouldn’t be a problem.

The old CAPTCHAs aren’t going away just yet. The traditional “type out the numbers/words” you see will still be occasionally used by Google to help digitize the infinite number of images they have: from the street signs on Google Maps to some distorted words on a scanned Google Books page.

You can find out more about Google’s reCAPTCHA on their official introductory page, as well as register your site for the free and most advanced security system.
